Residents in an Oakville neighborhood are concerned after Toronto Police raided two homes last night and Halton police don’t know why the force from Toronto raided homes in their jurisdiction.
Heavily armed Toronto Police officers entered a home at 33 Kaitting Trail around 10pm, Monday night.
There were reports that one person was taken into custody.
Police also seized a Mercedes G-Wagon valued at almost $200 thousand.
A neighbour said that there was a young couple who lived at the home and that they always kept to themselves.
Two women were seen leaving the house early Tuesday morning.
Number 33 was for sale last October and sold for just under $670 thousand. A for lease sign went up soon after.
Late Tuesday afternoon another Oakville resident called CHCH to say that police raided a home Monday night around 10pm down the street at 114 Culp Trail.
Toronto Police are not saying anything and we don’t know if the two searches are connected.
Halton Police would only say that this is a Toronto investigation.
