An Oakville man who defrauded three men of almost $140,000 will serve 13 months of house arrest, after getting 10 months credit for time already served.

Walter Garrick has been ordered to re-pay the full amount.

The 42 year old pretended to be a wealthy doctor who owned the “Oakville Invictas” football team.

Garrick will be back in court in May for allegedly defrauding several people involved with the Toronto Argonauts, including former coach Mike “Pinball” Clemons.
