Oakville driving instructor charged with sexual assault, police believe there maybe more victims

Halton police have arrested an Oakville man in connection with an investigation into a historical sexual assault.

63-year-old Zia Shah was arrested on August 5 and charged with sexual assault.

Police say the incident happened in 2013 while Shah was a driving instructor at Leaders Driving school at 50-A-Lakeshore Rd West in Oakville, the 18-year-old alleged victim was his student.

The school is no longer in business but police believe Shah may have continued to teach in the Oakville area.

Police are concerned there may be more victims and are asking anyone with information to contact Halton police.
