Oakville construction project

The Town of Oakville says drivers can expect heavy delays on the roads as a major area will be closed for a month-long construction project.

A waste waster main installation project begins on Monday, and will close down a section of Neyagawa Boulevard, between Burnhamthorpe Road and North Park Boulevard.

The town says drivers will be able to take a detour route on Sixth Line between Dundas Street and Burnhamthorpe.

Highway 407 ramps will not be affected.

Officials say the roads should re-open on September 24th.
