Oakville child shocked

A 13-year-old boy is recovering in hospital Wednesday night after he was shocked while climbing a tree. Halton police were called to the Oakville Italian Club on Lower Baseline Road in the afternoon and say the boy had climbed up eight metres when he accidentally touched the live wires.

He fell from the tree, hitting several branches on the way down.

He is expected to recover.
