Oakville celebrates environment

It was all about the environment Saturday in Oakville.

Thousands turned out for the Halton Eco Festival at the Glen Abbey Community Centre.

It hopes to raise greater awareness about the importance of the natural environment.

The event was filled with eco-friendly presenters, including Jack Mogus of Ecomentors. He was showing kids and adults how to best plant seeds.

It’s one of the longest-running environmental fairs in Ontario, currently in its 14th year.
