Oakville bus driver hurt

A School bus driver in Oakville has been seriously injured after an early morning crash.

Police say the driver was southbound on Bronte Road near Marine Drive and went off-course.

The bus mounted the curb, struck a tree and smashed through an iron fence before stopping on a retaining wall next to Bronte Harbour.

62 year old Burlington man has been taken to Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga.

Police are investigating the crash.
