North American Indigenous games

Day one of the North American Indigenous games has kicked off and Hamilton and Toronto are the main hubs for the competition’s 14 sports. At McMaster, soccer games have been ongoing all day and will continue through Saturday.
There are over 5,000 athletes from Canada and the U.S. in 14 sports. Softball, archery and lacrosse are in Hamilton and sports like badminton, basketball and swimming are happening throughout the GTA. Most sports are being played at former Pan Am games venues.
Even if you’re not a fan of sports, there’s a lot of fun for the family with culture exhibits and free live concerts every night from 8-10.
