Norfolk County OPP investigate after large amount of money stolen

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating after a large amount of money was stolen during a break and enter in Norfolk County.

It happened on Oct. 10 shortly before 7 p.m. at an address on South Dr. in Simcoe.

Officers say unknowns were at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds between 4:30 p.m. and 6:50 p.m. when they forced their way into a trailer and stole the large quantity of money.

Police have not specified how much money was stolen at this time.

The Norfolk County OPP is continuing to investigate and will be reviewing security surveillance footage in order to identify the individuals responsible.
