It may have looked like it, but be assured there was no heavy snow storm at Pearson International airport this morning.

A malfunctioning foam machine filled a large hanger with the white stuff and some spilled out onto Derry Road at Airport Road and was blown around by the wind.

Some areas were as deep as 9 metres.

As airport officials cleaned up the foam that’s used to combat large aircraft fires, police were called in to control traffic, which ended up not being affected.
