No one injured after gunshot fired into east-end Hamilton apartment unit

Hamilton police are searching for a woman and four men after a gunshot was fired into an apartment unit in the city’s east end Sunday night.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. inside Westbury Park Place located at 150 Sanford Ave. North.
Investigators say there was a disturbance between the wanted group of people in a hallway, which led to a gunshot being fired through a door and into the living room wall of a nearby unit.
“There were some people in the apartment. We’re still trying to gather exactly what happened,” said Hamilton police spokesperson Trevor McKenna.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
Some of the victims are cooperating with investigators, McKenna said.
There are currently no suspect descriptions for the woman and four men wanted in this shooting.
