No jobs, no severance as Fort Erie plant shuts down

Another huge economic blow to the already hard-hit Niagara region.

Vertis Communications in Fort Erie announced this week it’s shutting down. The 100 employees have not only lost their jobs – Lauran Sabourin reports they’ve been told they’re not getting any severance pay either.
