No inquest in migrant worker crash

There will not be an inquest into a crash that killed 10 migrant farm workers and a truck driver near Stratford over a year ago.

The Ontario Coroner’s Office says their investigation has led them to believe the crash was caused by driver error. The workers were in an extended van when it collided with a tractor trailer north of Shakespeare last February. The United Food and Commercial Workers Union called for an inquest, claiming workers are in jeopardy every day moving from one job site to another.
