No gun involved in weapons call

Update:

Neighbours on a quiet Hamilton mountain street are reacting to news that four people were arrested at a house on Brigade drive. Around 10pm Sunday night at least four police cars and an ambulance responded to what came in as a weapons call. Police were led to believe someone in the house had a gun, but it turns out there was no gun at all.

As part of the disturbance, a 32 year old woman was hurt and taken to hospital, she is expected to be ok. Police did find cocaine, marijuana and hydromorphone and opioid.

39-year-old Monica Wachznuik is charged with possession of cocaine and hydromorphone. 43 year old Trevor Dhue and 59 year old Dennis Halliday are also facing drug related charges. Police say all three adults are from Hamilton and know each other.
