No charges in football brawl

Charges won’t be laid after a nasty clash in the stands of Hamilton’s Ivor Wynne stadium Saturday.

Local fans and players from a Quebec junior team started trading punches after the players climbed into the stand to respond to insults and items allegedly being thrown at them. As Kate Carnegie reports, the league is looking into disciplinary action… and the Hamilton Hurricanes will now be picking up the tab for security at home games.
