No charges in Bahamas deaths

Police don’t expect to lay charges in the death of a St. Catharines couple in the Bahamas.

Jill and Ron Gandza died last week after they were hit by a car while walking along a highway. A small family memorial service will be held next week. The couple had planned to open an animal shelter in the Bahamas — and their families have asked donations be made to the Humane Society in their honour.
