The Niagara Wine Festival has taken over Montebello Park in St. Catharines.

The festival is in its 63rd year and organizers say it’s also a banner year with attendance way up.

After 63 years organizers made a few changes this time around including the addition celebrity chef demonstrations.

On Sunday iron chef, Darren Stout, was at the festival.

Next Sunday Bob Bloomer of the Food Network will be attending.

Almost 40 Niagara wineries are at the festival to celebrate and promote the industry.

Canadian singer Royal Wood has played at the festival over the years and says he’s back this year because he loves the atmosphere and the wine

Royal Wood performed Sunday afternoon and there are plenty of other acts playing next weekend.

There’s also seminars, winery tours and celebrity lunches you can book.

The festival runs until September 28th.
