Niagara schools closed Friday due to harsh weather conditions

With a major winter storm expected to hit the Niagara region, the District School Board of Niagara and Niagara Catholic District School Board have made the decision to close all schools tomorrow.
The DSBN released a statement Thursday saying that weather conditions will cause dangerous driving conditions.

Based on the forecast, Niagara Student Transportation Services is anticipating that buses will be cancelled tomorrow as well.
“It is never an easy decision to close our schools,” the DSBN said in a media release.
“However, this decision will give families time to prepare, and most importantly, it was made in the best interest of everyone’s safety.”
