Niagara residents trashing new garbage rules

They’re talking trash in Niagara.


Starting Monday, there is a one garbage bag limit on residential pickup in the peninsula.
It used to be two bags.
Businesses are allowed four garbage cans.
The difference now is that all recyclable materials will be picked up every week.
If you exceed the limit you have to buy a tag, which doesn’t sit well with some residents.

While most people are familiar with the new rules, CHCH News did see more than one bag outside some homes with no tags.
