Total snowfall amounts of nearly 30 cm along the Lake Erie shoreline are possible. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult in some locations.
Snow squalls can cause conditions to vary considerably within a few kilometres, with the weather quickly changing from clear skies to heavy snow.
Wind gusts of up to 60 km/h can cause southwestern blowing snow and whiteout at times.
Residents are encouraged to prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
