Niagara police seize $21K worth of drugs

A drug trafficking investigation in West Lincoln has led to the seizure of more than $21,000 worth of illicit drugs.

Members of the Niagara Regional Police Service Opioid Enforcement Unit concluded the investigation early Tuesday and seized fentanyl, morphine, oxycodone, cocaine, and crystal methamphetamine.

They also found $260 in cash, cell phones and a digital scale.

Sebastian Blaszyk, 42, was arrested and charged with five counts of possession of a scheduled I substance for the purpose of trafficking, three counts of fail to comply with recognizance, and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.

Blaszyk has been held in custody.
