Niagara police seek public’s help in St. Catharines shooting investigation

Niagara police are appealing to the public for any information about a shooting that took place on March 24 in the area of Carlton Street between Vine and Geneva streets in St. Catharines.
After receiving calls about gunshot sounds in the area, police arrived at the scene around 3:40 a.m. and found a 30-year-old man in a car with serious gunshot wounds.
First responders transported him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
So far, no arrests have been made.
Police are asking for specifically dashcam footage or witnesses who may have seen or heard something between 3:30 a.m. and 3:45 a.m. near the area where the shooting happened.
