UPDATE: Niagara police say Layla Travers has been found safe.

Niagara police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 14-year-old girl.

Layla Travers is believed to have left home in the area of Port Robinson and Kottmeier roads in Thorold around 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 11.

Travers is described as white and five-foot-four with a thin build, shoulder-length brown hair and a nose piercing.

Her family and police are concerned for the well-being of Travers.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 905 688 4111.
