Niagara Police search for man wanted in sexual assault of two teens

Niagara Regional Police are looking for a suspect in the alleged sexual assault of two 16-year-old girls.

Police say the assaults are believed to have happened inside a home in Niagara Falls in May of this year.

The investigation led detectives to a home on Butternut Blvd. They went there on Tuesday to execute a search warrant.

A 33-year-old woman from Niagara Falls was arrested and charged with two counts of obstructing justice.

Her name is not being released because it may identify the victims.

Police are looking for 33-year-old Daniel John Vermont.

Detectives believe Vermont knows police are after him and is trying to elude arrest.

They say he may be operating a red 2014 BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo similar to the one seen below.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call police.
