Niagara police remain on scene after arresting man on rural property

There is a large police presence in Niagara-on-the-Lake Tuesday morning while officials conduct a “wanted person investigation.”

Niagara police remain on a rural property after arresting a man from within the home.

There are no details about the charges laid against the suspect, and police say they were taken into custody without incident.

Residents are being asked to stay away from the area for the time being.

Police have not released any further information at this time.
