Niagara police release new information in St. Catharines hit and run investigation

Niagara police are continuing to investigate a St. Catharines hit and run that sent a pedestrian to the hospital in serious condition on Jan. 8.
Investigators are asking the public to keep an eye out for the car they believe is involved.
They describe it as a 2011-2020 model year grey Dodge Caravan with damage to the front passenger side and windshield.
Officers also noted the truck had a yellow/orange license plate that hung from the rear wiper in a vinyl pouch.
The car was last seen driving east on Davidson Street from Niagara Street, and is believed to have turned south on Page Street from Davidson Street.
The person who was struck is still in the hospital with serious injuries.
