Niagara police release new images of armed robbery suspect

Niagara police have released additional photographs of a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Thorold.

Police were called to Gales Gas Bar on Collier Rd. South around 12:30 a.m. on Monday.

Investigators say two men armed with a firearm stole an undisclosed amount of cash and lottery tickets.

The pair fled on foot prior to police arrival.

Police are looking for two men who are described as having medium builds.

Two more images of the first suspect have been released by police and appear to show the man wearing a red baseball cap, a t-shirt with a red image and sunglasses.

An earlier picture released by police showed the man wearing a grey baseball cap, grey mask, a short-sleeve button-up shirt with red and blue stripes, grey pants, and black and white Adidas running shoes.

The second suspect was wearing a black baseball cap with a red bandana underneath, a black bandana covering his face, and a long-sleeve white shirt with blue stripes.

Police are asking residents and businesses in the area who may have security cameras, doorbell video cameras, or dash cameras to review their footage for suspicious activity between 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 8 and 1 a.m. on Aug. 9.
