Man killed in Niagara Falls following shooting near Clifton Hill

A 29-year-old man who was seriously injured following a shooting outside a residence near Clifton Hill has died, Niagara police say.
Authorities notified the public of the incident shortly before 8 p.m. Monday.
One man was found at the scene near St. Lawrence Avenue with life-threatening injuries, but was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
No arrests have been made at this time.
“It’s pretty quiet around here,” a neighbour told CHCH News. “We’re outside … I was playing with my grandchildren and all this went down. It’s pretty shocking. Couldn’t sleep too good last night.”
Detectives say the suspect vehicle is a 2020-2024 Audi Q7 with a black optic or “black ops” package.

Anyone who may have been in the area of Epworth Circle and St. Lawrence Avenue and may have video or dashcam footage between the hours of 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on April 1 is being asked to review the footage. If the vehicle is seen on that footage, or if you see anything that appears to be suspicious, contact detectives.
Officers are also appealing to food delivery drivers who made deliveries on Epworth Circle on April 1 between 2:45 p.m. and 6:20 p.m., to contact detectives.
