Niagara police investigate shooting in St. Catharines

Niagara police are investigating an overnight shooting in St. Catharines.
On Wednesday at 7:51 a.m., police responded to a barbershop located on James Street after receiving information that the front window had been damaged.
When officers arrived they determined the window had been shot multiple times. Police say no one was in the shop at the time and no injuries have been reported.
Police say the shooting occurred at around 4:30 a.m. and have identified a suspect vehicle. It is described as a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), newer model (possibly a Lexus), red, 4 doors.
Detectives believe the vehicle was last seen in the area of Westchester Avenue and St. Paul Street.
