Niagara police investigate gas station robbery in Thorold

Niagara police are investigating a gas station robbery in Thorold.
On July 28, at around 6:00 p.m., police responded to a robbery at the Petro Canada gas station at 1809 Merrittville Hwy. and Hwy 20.
Police at around 5:36 p,m., a lone masked man entered the gas station kiosk armed with a knife, The man threatened the employee and demanded two STLTH nicotine vape pods that are worth $34 and fled on foot. The store employee was not injured.
The mask and the bandana the man was wearing was found by a K9 track of the area, but not the man.
The man is described as white, 25-35-years-old, around 6’0″ tall, medium build, appeared to have brown hair beneath a dark blue bandana and wearing purple, blue, red, green, and yellow Halloween-style plastic face mask, plain yellow/orange t-shirt, black athletic shorts with a white logo that appeared to be Adidas and slide-style flip flops that were black with a white Air Jordan logo.
