Niagara police charge 5 people after seizing $66K worth of drugs

Police have charged five people after seizing over $66,000 worth of illegal drugs in Niagara Falls.
Officers opened an investigation last month into the distribution of illicit drugs throughout the city.
On Tuesday, police carried out a search warrant at a home in the area of Drummond Rd. and Monroe St., where they seized $66,720 worth of fentanyl, cocaine and crystal methamphetamine.

Investigators also found $580 in cash, 30 rounds of shotgun ammunition and a prohibited knife.
Police arrested and charged Jimmy Alan Carson, 36; Alexis Scarfo, 20; Marcel Ludger Labbe, 56; Jennifer McRae, 48; and Leonard Nicholas Lech, 35, all of whom reside in Niagara Falls. The five accused are facing multiple drug-related offences.
