Niagara police arrest two people in drug investigation

Niagara police have arrested two people in relation to a drug trafficking investigation in Niagara Falls.
On March 5, officers executed a search warrant at a Niagara Falls motel room and seized 38 suspected tablets of hydromorphone, 140 grams of suspected fentanyl, and $1,820 in Canadian currency.
Gerald Caines, 55, of St. Catharines has been arrested and faces several charges – including drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, and failure to comply with release orders.
Emnuela Bartolini, 55, of Niagara Falls was also arrested and charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking.
