Niagara on the Lake man faces more charges

Niagara Regional Police service have again arrested and charged 63-year old Peter Corbiere of Niagara on the Lake with fraud-related charges.

Police say Corbiere was originally arrested and charged as the result of an investigation beginning in October 2019 into a report of a suspicious failed business arrangement.

After further investigation, police arrested Corbiere again Monday and charged him with fraud over $5000 and false pretenses.

Police say Corbiere was released on a promise to appear with a future court date of May 27 at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.
