Niagara-on-the Lake man arrested on child pornography charges

Niagara police say a man has been arrested on child pornography charges.

In October, Niagara police`s 2 District uniform patrol and Internet Child Exploitation (I.C.E) Unit started an investigation into the sexual exploitation of a child.

Thirty-nine-year-old Weston Nesbitt was arrested and charged with one count of possession of child pornography, one count of making child pornography, and one count of making child pornography available.

Nesbitt is being held in custody and awaiting a bail hearing on Sunday Oct. 24 by way of video at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.
