Niagara jewelry robbery
A Niagara man has been charged, after a robbery at Fredericks Jewellers on St. Paul Street in St. Catharines.
Police say a man assaulted the store owner, before attempting to steal the contents of a display case. Police say the man fled, after a few people tried to confront him. He was later arrested not far from the store. 40 year old Christopher John Lewis faces one count of robbery and one count of uttering threats. The store owner suffered minor injuries.
