Niagara human trafficking investigation leads to arrest in B.C.

Niagara police say a man connected to a human trafficking investigation in Niagara Falls was found in British Columbia. He has been brought to Ontario, where he was arrested and charged.
Police began their investigation in August 2024, focusing on the alleged trafficking of a woman throughout Toronto and Niagara Falls.
In October, officers arrested a man and a woman in connection to their investigation.
Further investigation revealed the identity of a third person believed to be involved – 36-year-old Colin Bayley.
A Canada-wide warrant was issued for his arrest, and led to him being found on April 1.
Bayley faces charges of sexual assault, assault, and uttering threats to cause death.
He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing, which is expected to take place April 6 via video conferencing to Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.
Detectives believe there may be more victims, and are encouraging survivors to come forward and speak with police.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009548.
