Niagara Falls is coming off its best tourism season in over a decade.

The cash registers at Louis Tussauds Wax Museum have been busy. “We see the average person spending anywhere from, at our attractions, anywhere from $50 to $80.” Said Tim Parker from Ripley Entertainment.

The company is reporting one of its best seasons in years. Tim Parker says Americans are taking advantage of a weak Canadian dollar and also means more Canadians are staying closer to home.

With the Canadian dollar trading at 71 cents U.S. and the passport problem dimishing, businesses expect to see green well into 2016.
