Niagara Falls to host weekly ‘skywalks’
It’s a 40 minute, 400 metre stroll, 50 stories above ground on 2 inch cable.
If it sounds familiar you may be thinking of daredevil Nik Wallenda’s recent wire walk across Niagara Falls – but this is another wirewalk we’re talking about, taking place all summer long in that same city. Wire walker Jay Cochrane is set to perform what’s being called a ‘skywalk’ in the falls. The walk was supposed to start tomorrow, but was delayed because of technical issues. Despite the late start, Cristina Tenaglia reports that this next walk will still bring in tourists – and some extra cash, for Niagara Falls.
