Niagara Falls marijuana dispensary shut down

Niagara Regional Police have received numerous information regarding the sale of marijuana from a Queen St. location in Niagara Falls.
During the investigation, the police learned that this location was illegally selling marijuana for profit to those who have a medical marijuana licence.
As a result, the police obtained a search warrant to enter and search the Queen St. Location.
29 year old Jason Allen of Niagara Falls has been arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and 1 count of possession of proceeds of crime.
Police seized over $11 thousand in marijuana and over $2000 in cash.
The sale of medical marijuana must be sold by a regulated licensed marijuana producer and outside the parameters of licensed producers not authorized by Health Canada is illegal.
