A 32-year-old man is facing child pornography charges following a 10-months long investigation by Niagara police.

Members of the Niagara Regional Police Service’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit launched an investigation in Dec. 2020 into the sexual exploitation of a child.

On Thursday, officers arrested Adam Mealing, of Niagara Falls.

He has been charged with making child pornography, accessing child pornography, and possession of child pornography.

Mealing is currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
