The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority has downgraded its flood warning to a watch.
The authority says the latest rainfall has increased water levels in Lake Ontario by two centimeters and they expect levels to continue to rise slightly throughout the month.
They are urging residents who live along Lake Ontario from Hamilton to Niagara-on-the-Lake to exercise caution near the lakefront area.
