Niagara College kicks up support for women in brewing

Niagara College Brewmaster students were working with the Pink Boots Society today to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Stirring and pouring, students were brewing fruity wheat beer today in collaboration with Pink Boots Society, a non-profit program that supports women working in the brewing profession.

The alcohol and beverage industry has generally been a male-dominated field, but there’s been a push to make it more diverse.

You can buy the beers at the Teaching Brewery retail store and the Wine Visitor Education Centre.
