The Niagara-bound lanes of the Burlington Skyway bridge are scheduled to close overnight this Friday as maintenance repairs continue to be completed.

The closure will begin at 10 p.m., with all lanes being re-opened at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Advance signing and notification will be provided to allow for drivers to plan alternative routes.

This closure coincides with the ongoing lane closures on the Burlington Canal Lift Bridge, which means only one lane will remain open for drivers heading towards Niagara.

The Ministry of Transportation says that the scheduled closure is subject to change and any alterations to the schedule will be shared on the Ontario 511 website.
