Newmarket crash

York Regional Police suspect drowsiness from too much sun may be to blame for a head-on crash in Newmarket Monday night.

Police say a car drifted over the centre line, crashed into a van, and was then pinned beneath it.

Four people in the car and a passenger in the van were taken to hospital.

It’s believed the people in the car were on their way home from Canada’s Wonderland.
