NewLeaf will resume flight sales

Discount travel operator NewLeaf has approval to resume flight sales, and will start selling low-cost seats in the next few weeks.

The Winnipeg-based airline launched at Hamilton’s John C Munro airport on January 6th, but suspended operations after just one week, pending a decision on a licence issue. And now that decision is in and the Canadian Transportation Agency has ruled that indirect air service carriers, like NewLeaf, are not required to hold a licence, if their flight operator is licensed.

NewLeaf buys seats from Flair airlines, and re-sells them to the public.
