New Zealand quake felt by relatives here

Streets were crowded and office buildings were full when a magnitude 6.3 earthquake rocked Christchurch late Monday.

People are frantically digging through rubble — looking to free anyone who might still be trapped, and cranes are being used to rescue people stranded in tall buildings.
While this may be happening a world away, the impact is being felt here for people with family or friends in the country.
Sean Cowan spoke with an Ancaster mother whose son was caught in middle of the deadly disaster.
