Safety measures coming include speed bumps along some of the busiest residential roads in the area, including Panabaker Dr., Sulphur Springs Rd., Church St. and Lodor Rd.

Additionally, speed limits are being dropped on streets deemed precarious for pedestrians as they do not currently have sidewalks or crosswalks. Lime Kiln Rd. and Lyden Rd. have already seen speed limit drops implemented.

The area is looking at introducing long-term solutions for safety such as more driver education, increased police enforcement and re-engineering roads to make it more difficult to speed.
