New location selected for Riehl skate park

Another site has now been chosen to build a skate park in the memory of Isaac Riehl. Isaac, 14, was struck and killed last fall while riding his skateboard along a rural road.

The committee wanted it to be built at Harold Black Park but legal challenges have prevented that. The new preferred site is Marlene Stewart Streit park off Highway 20 in Fonthill.

The decision still has to be approved by Pelham town council at its next meeting on June 17th before construction can begin.
