New details in Oakville assault

New details have been released after an overnight incident in Oakville.

Police say a 24-year-old man was riding around Westoak Trails and Treetop Terrace near Old Oak Park when he was pulled from the bike, dragged into a wooded area and assaulted by two men.

He lost consciousness briefly but did manage to make his way to Westoak Trails where someone spotted him.

He’s in hospital but is expected to be okay.

Police think he may have been specifically targeted.

It’s believed the suspects spoke Arabic.

One of them is described as having a dark complexion, dark hair, about six-feet-tall and wore dark pants and a white t-shirt.
