New COVID-19 testing centre opens in Hamilton Friday

A new COVID-19 testing centre opens in Hamilton on Friday.

St. Joseph’s Healthcare staff will run the centre at Mohawk College’s Fennell campus.

The testing site will be located at the N Wing of the campus, which is self-contained and physically separated from the main building.

No one from the testing centre will be allowed access to Mohawk’s main campus buildings.

The site is open seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tests will be done by appointment only.

The opening of this centre also marks the closure of the temporary testing centre at St. Joe’s West 5th campus.
